To mark World Standards Day, celebrated on 14 October, an event will be held on 11 December, organised by the Portuguese Quality Institute (IPQ) and the Ceramics and Glass Technology Centre (CTCV). The meeting will take place at 2 p.m. at LUFAPO HUB in Coimbra and aims to demonstrate the importance of standardisation by presenting testimonials from companies and academia on the impact of standards on competitiveness and how they support innovation, leveraged by the ongoing digital transformation process in the development of standards.

Qualiseg will be present as chair of CT224, where its Chairman Manuel Carrasqueira will be the moderator at the round table: Materials for Sustainable Construction, which will address topics such as:

- Standardisation as a lever for decarbonisation and circularity;
- Internal market requirements vs. Export;
- Impact of harmonised standards on competitiveness.
