Sailing towards sustainability: steady steps of the Zero Carbon Naval Roadmap project
On February 18th, the RNCZ met in Ponte de Lima, at the premises of CEVAL - Alto Minho Business Confederation. The meeting brought together the project consortium, CEVAL, with Sandra Roque and Francisco Araújo, and Fórum Oceano, with Gonçalo Santos, as well as experts and consultants dedicated to advancing our project:
🔹HAEDES, through the presence of Lénia D. Rato and João Alves, who perform the strategic ESG performance study of the world fleet.
🔹 Qualiseg Group, through the presence of Manuel Carrasqueira, who is carrying out the strategic study on decarbonization in the shipbuilding, repair and maintenance sector - state of the art.
🔹3drivers, with the presence of António Lorena, who is carrying out the “Roadmap for the Decarbonization of the naval industries”.
Through the presence of Hugo Marques Sousa and Carla Silva, Magellan Circle supports the project's communication and dissemination.
As it progresses, the RNCZ continues to sail forward, showing that we can achieve a more sustainable future for the naval industry.
The RNCZ, a project promoted by Fórum Oceano and CEVAL - Alto Minho, is part of the #PRR - Decarbonization of Industry program, and aims to define decarbonization trajectories and targets by 2050 for the Shipbuilding, Repair and Maintenance (CRM) sector.
