hello world!

The M4ML project aims to promote and support the bilateral exchange between Portugal and Norway of students/trainees, teachers, lecturers and researchers, within the domain of the Maritime Logistics, Engineering and Management education.

About

The Blue Economy has the potential to deliver growth and jobs in the coming years, but an adequate supply of blue skills is mandatory. To address this requirement, a new international Master in Maritime Logistics (MML) was developed by the Portuguese Naval Academy (Escola Naval) and NOVA School of Science and Technology (NOVA SST), with the collaboration of the EU MarLEM project partners.

The M4ML project aims to promote and support the bilateral exchange between Portugal and Norway of students/trainees, teachers, lecturers and researchers within the domain of MML. The project has been set up by a consortium composed by two Portuguese universities (Escola Naval & NOVA SST), one University of Norway (NTNU) and one Portuguese company (Qualiseg).

Through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are partners in the internal market with the Member States of the European Union.
As a way of promoting a continuous and balanced strengthening of economic and trade relations, the parties to the EEA Agreement have established a multi-annual Financial Mechanism, known as the EEA Grants.
The EEA Grants aim to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe and strengthen bilateral relations between these three countries and the beneficiary countries.
For the 2014-2021 period, a total contribution of 2.8 billion euros has been agreed for 15 beneficiary countries. Portugal will receive 102.7 million euros.
