This second mobility action, under M4ML Project was held between 7 and 11 November and aimed to present and disseminate the scientific work that has been developed at the NOVA SST and UNIDEMI (Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento em Engenharia Mec\u00e2nica e Industrial) and explore points of connection with the investigation carried out at the Department of Marine Technology (IMT), NTNU.<\/p>\n
The activities involved Prof.\u00a0Stein Ove Erikstad<\/u>, Professor in Marine Systems Design, Department of marine technology, NTNU \u2013 Norwegian University for Science and Technology and\u00a0Benjamin Lagemann<\/u> (an PhD Student and a Naval Architect). A visit by Prof. Stein to NOVA SST facilities was done.<\/p>\n
M4ML project is funded by the EEA Grants under the Blue Growth Programme.<\/p>\n
Through the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway are partners, in the internal market, of the Member States of the European Union.<\/p>\n
As a way of promoting a continuous and balanced strengthening of the economic and trade relations, the parties of the European Economic Area Agreement have established a Multiannual Financial Mechanism, known as the EEA Grants.<\/p>\n
The EEA Grants aim to reduce the economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area and strengthen the bilateral relations between beneficiary and donor countries.<\/p>\n
For the period 2014-2021, a total contribution of 2.8 thousand million euros has been agreed to 15 beneficiary countries. Portugal will benefit from an amount of 102.7 million euros.<\/p>\n
