This mobility action, under M4ML Project was held between 18 and 22 October and aimed to present and disseminate the scientific work that has been developed at the NOVA SST and UNIDEMI (Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento em Engenharia Mec\u00e2nica e Industrial) and explore points of connection with the investigation carried out at the Department of Marine Technology (IMT), NTNU.<\/p>\n
The activities involved Prof. Stein Ove Erikstad<\/u>, Professor in Marine Systems Design, Department of marine technology, NTNU \u2013 Norwegian University for Science and Technology and Benjamin Lagemann<\/u> (an PhD Student and a Naval Architect). A visit to the NTNU facilities was done. Professor Radu make a seminar about the research activities made at NOVA SST and UNIDEMI to the IMT PhD students and Prof. Stein Ove Erikstad.<\/p>\n
Future steps were agreed, addressing the following:<\/p>\n
M4ML project is funded by the EEA Grants under the Blue Growth Programme.<\/span><\/p>\n Through the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway are partners, in the internal market, of the Member States of the European Union.<\/span><\/p>\n As a way of promoting a continuous and balanced strengthening of the economic and trade relations, the parties of the European Economic Area Agreement have established a Multiannual Financial Mechanism, known as the EEA Grants.<\/span><\/p>\n The EEA Grants aim to reduce the economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area and strengthen the bilateral relations between beneficiary and donor countries.<\/span><\/p>\n
